About the Author
Mrs. Emelia Nana Ekua Osam-Duodu Carrigan, Chartered MCIPD, is a Ghanaian-British author, Company Director, and Owner of Emdoc Medical Healthcare Limited in the United Kingdom. She holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Kent and a BSc (Hons) in Human Resource Management and Law from Canterbury Christ Church University.
As the fifth child of the late FIFA football legend Fred Osam-Duodu, she was inspired to preserve his remarkable legacy through writing. Her debut book, Biography of FIFA Football Legend Fred Osam-Duodu, celebrates his extraordinary life and contribution to African football while inspiring future generations. Emelia lives in England with her husband and their two children.

Fred Osam-Duodu began his football coaching journey in Ghana, developing the tactical discipline and leadership that would define his remarkable career.

He led Ghana's Black Stars to victory in the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations, one of the nation's greatest football achievements.

International Coaching Career
He coached and mentored teams across Africa and beyond, working in countries including Gambia, Egypt, Mali, Liberia, South Africa, Brazil, Spain, Australia, South Korea, Switzerland, Peru, and the United States.
